The Trash node is an output node that doesn’t write data that runs through it, rather it directs the workflow to an unsaved output location. This allows the user to have a functioning job (a job with inputs, a process, and an output) but eliminates any need to write the jobs results to a file extract. This can be useful when a branch of the job’s workflow is not needed, even as a temporary file.
