I am being told my license requires daily validation, and it failed.

This means that when the program tried to contact the licensing server to verify your license, it was unable to connect to the network. It could be due to offline status of your machine, network latency, or something else. If this message persists on a continual basis over several days it would be worth checking your internet connection or other connections within your local network, this might involve reaching out to your IT department.

Attempting to reach out to the license server in the moment can be done by selecting Help > License & Registration > Force license check
