Rapid Insight Expands Footprint, Opens Office in Portland, Maine
Growing Analytics Software Company Now Recruiting Across Northern New England
Conway, New Hampshire – December 5, 2018 – Rapid Insight, an analytics software solutions company, today announced its expansion into Maine with a new office in downtown Portland at 120 Exchange Street. The company will maintain its headquarters in Conway, New Hampshire and recruit top talent to fuel its growth at both locations.
Newly appointed CEO Brett Austin selected Portland for its track record of supporting competitive software companies as they scale. “Portland has a special mix of creativity, ingenuity, authenticity, and quality of life that creates the perfect environment to build a growing, sustainable, and socially-responsible technology company,” said Austin. “Portland also offers access to top-notch technical and business-oriented talent.” Austin is a native to Maine, has lived and worked in major tech hubs from Seattle to Boston, and currently resides with his family in the greater Portland area.
Rapid Insight is actively recruiting for new positions in marketing, sales, data analysis, quality assurance, and software development for both the Conway and Portland offices. The company is working with organizations like Live and Work in Maine to efficiently fill these roles. “It is gratifying to have Rapid Insight and a proven Maine leader, Brett Austin, choose Portland as the company continues to grow the team. Southern Maine has the local talent needed to fuel this growth—as well as the ability to recruit talent to this area because of the great quality of life Maine offers,” said Ed McKersie, Founder and President of Live and Work in Maine. “This is a big win for our employment community, and I look forward to watching Brett build Rapid Insight into a major employer.”
Rapid Insight’s original Conway office opened in 2002 with the goal of building world-class software and generating smart job opportunities in a location that offered quality of life and proximity to the great outdoors. The new Portland office will offer employees a similar opportunity to balance work and play, and urban life with outdoor adventure—remaining true to the original spirit of Rapid Insight at its founding.
Rapid Insight is also expecting to significantly expand the square footage for its New Hampshire headquarters with a new office facility in Conway. More details will be available in the first fiscal quarter of 2019.
